Innovating in the adherence to treatment

Our client – a pharmaceutical multinational – was facing the challenge of identifying the drivers to adherence to its treatment, after detecting the need of improving it in their patients.

The goal was to understand in depth the environment of the patients and its coexistence with the disease and the treatment, collecting the key insights and transforming them into strategical recommendations.

Phase 1
Etnographic research on the patient and her environment

Conducting interviews with doctors, nurses and patients in order to know their views on the disease and its behaviour in light of the treatment and control of it.

Phase 2
Understand drivers and motivations to adherence

Defining the key stages of the process through a patient journey and identifying patient profiles. Identifying the key insights on which to act in each stage.
